1. Acceptance

By initiating or authorizing any payment through the Platform’s payment gateway, you ("Payer") agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced herein.

2. Definitions

• Payer: Person or entity making a payment via the Platform.
• Institution / Platform: Delhi Public School Mushkipur.
• Payment Gateway Provider: Third-party provider that processes payments (e.g., card networks, wallets, UPI processors).
• Transaction Fees: Any fees, taxes, or charges levied by the Payment Gateway Provider or financial institutions.

3. Payment Authorization & Processing

All payments are processed by a third-party Payment Gateway Provider selected by the Institution. By making a payment you authorize the Provider to debit your chosen payment instrument. The Institution does not control the Provider’s systems and is not responsible for downtime, errors, or delays caused by the Provider.

4. User Obligations

• The Payer must provide accurate, complete, and current payment and contact information. Incorrect information may delay or prevent processing.
• The Payer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

6. Security & Compliance

The Payment Gateway Provider is responsible for payment security and must comply with industry standards such as PCI DSS where applicable. The Institution does not store full card data on its servers. In the event of any breach due to the Provider, the Provider’s terms and privacy policy will apply.

7. Third-Party Terms

The Payer acknowledges that transactions are subject to the Payment Gateway Provider’s terms, privacy policy, and settlement timelines. Please review the provider’s terms where available during checkout.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Institution shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from payment processing, including chargebacks, delayed crediting, or provider downtime.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

Any disputes regarding a charge or payment should first be raised with the Institution’s accounts team (contact below). The Payer may also pursue dispute resolution through their card issuer or payment method provider. The Institution reserves the right to recover any chargeback costs or losses from the Payer if a chargeback is found to be invalid.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, site content, and payment interfaces belong to the Institution or its licensors. Use of the payment interface does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

11. Changes to Terms

The Institution may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with an effective date. Continued use of the payment gateway after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Bihar, India (or change to preferred jurisdiction).

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
